I break my silence to share some very awesome news.
We’re having a second child.
There, I’ve said it. It’s something my wife Carol and I have been working on for some time and after having confirmed this via Ultrasound, the ball has been set in motion. I am writing this not to brag about it nor to waste blog space. I’m doing this to document this special moment in my family’s history.
It’s going to be an exciting 7 more months as we wait for the coming of the newest addition to our family. Keila, our first child’s new sibling. We welcome you baby, and we love you very much.
Just saw The Dark Knight
It’s been a long while since I came out of a movie feeling exhilirated and just plain awed over what I just saw. This is one of those moments. I will just chime in and make this short. The Dark Knight is a stupendous and astounding piece of work. It has crossed over from a work of fiction to something relevant to our time and one that demands our attention.
The late Heath Ledger will be remembered for this one for a long, long time. His work here will leave an indelible mark and should earn for himself at least an Academy Award (posthomous) nomination.
I mean, his voice is still ringing in my ears as I type this.
Some thoughts…
Why blog? What’s so important about blogging that people do it? In this era of user-generated content, I mean, why bother? Blogging doesn’t come naturally to me so these questions are tough. I really have no clue. All I know is that when I like something, I go at it with everything I’ve got. I’m just that kind of person.
Passionate. Driven. Unrelenting. I should channel it into something productive.
